I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I’m approved to volunteer at the VA Hospital here in Portland, OR. I went to speak to a very helpful woman at Volunteer Services this morning, and she described an opening working in the clinic area.

I’ll be there for a few hours every Saturday afternoon. I’ve not worked exclusively with vets before, so I’m really looking forward to this opportunity!
